Wellness

Set on the edge of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia, Explora Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve is an intimate new lodge surrounded by sweeping pampas, native forests, mountains and waterways. Opening in December 2026, the 10-room retreat sits within Explora’s private 15,000-acre conservation reserve, offering a quieter perspective on one of Patagonia’s most extraordinary landscapes.

The Lodge

Designed as a deeply immersive base for exploring the wilderness, the lodge features just 10 rooms, each with views towards either the mountains or surrounding forest. Panoramic windows connect the interiors with the landscape, while three outdoor hot tubs provide a peaceful place to unwind beneath the Patagonian skies.

Amenities

Exploration is central to the experience, with expert-led activities taking guests beyond the well-known trails of Torres del Paine. Hikes through forests and across open valleys, horseback riding among guanacos, e-biking, kayaking and visits to remote lagoons offer different ways to discover the reserve and surrounding wilderness. The reserve itself is at the heart of Explora’s conservation work, with rewilding helping restore habitats for native wildlife including guanacos, pumas and condors. Guests can experience this recovering ecosystem alongside local gaucho traditions and the reserve’s lesser-known landscapes, making the lodge as much about conservation and discovery as adventure.

Opening in December 2026, Explora Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve offers a more intimate and off-the-beaten-path complement to Explora’s established lodge within the national park – bringing together remote wilderness, active conservation and deeply immersive exploration.
